UAE President to visit Korea for first time, meets with President Yoon

South Korean President Yoon Seok-youl will meet with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is paying a state visit to South Korea, on the 28th and will carry out a friendly schedule.
According to the Presidential Office, President Mohammed will be paying a two-day, one-night state visit to South Korea from the 28th to the 29th. This will be the first time that a UAE president has visited South Korea.
On the same day, President Yoon will meet with President Mohammed to complete a social schedule and also attend a welcome dinner.
Kim Tae Hee, first vice director of the National Security Council, said at a briefing at the Presidential Office in Yongsan on the 23rd,
"He is a state guest visiting Korea. We want to give him the best hospitality he deserves," he said. "When the UAE president's plane enters Korea's air defense identification zone, four South Korean Air Force fighter jets will provide an escort flight."
On the 29th, the two leaders are scheduled to hold an official welcome ceremony, summit meeting, signing ceremony for agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOU), and official luncheon.
