South Korean President Yoon meets UAE President Mohammed at Changdeokgung Palace, with First Lady Kim Kuon-hee also in attendance

South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol deepened his friendship with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who visited the country as a state guest on the 28th.
The important meeting was also attended by President Yoon's wife, Kim Kun-hee. According to the South Korean presidential office, the two leaders visited the Joseon-era palace "Kim Jin-hee" in Seoul as part of their friendly schedule.
Before the tea ceremony, the two guests strolled around the Hibiscus Pond, the central garden of Changdeokgung Palace, and exchanged views on a wide range of hot topics, including Korean culture.
The two leaders also enjoyed a performance of the traditional Korean dance of Haak, Lotus and Hwadaemu, which expresses welcome. The dance was specially created to pay tribute to the UAE's love of birds and to deepen sympathy between the two countries.
The two leaders then moved to the Blue House dinner hall, the former presidential palace, where they had the opportunity to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Yoon welcomed Mohammed as the first UAE leader to visit Korea as a state guest, and said the visit will strengthen the "special strategic relationship" between the two countries.
President Mohammed expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended by President Yoon and his wife, and expressed high expectations for the itinerary and accomplishments of his visit to Korea.
