”Murder of mother and daughter at Gangnam Officetel”: Man in his 60s arrested 13 hours after the crime = South Korea

A man in his 60s suspected of murdering a mother and daughter at an officetel (combined office and residence) in Gangnam, Seoul, and then fleeing the scene was arrested 13 hours after the crime.
The Suseo Police Station in Seoul reported that a man suspected of murder was found dead on the street near Namtaeryeong Station in Seocho-gu, Seoul, at around 7:45 a.m. on the 31st.
The suspect, a man named Park (65), was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a woman in her 60s and her daughter in her 30s to death with a deadly weapon at around 6:54 pm yesterday at an officetel in Gangnam-gu.
He is suspected of having forced the two to meet. It was reported that Park and Ms. A were acquaintances. The mother and daughter were taken to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest, but later died.
Immediately after the crime, Park turned off his cell phone and fled in a car. Police are tracking the suspect using CCTV footage and other sources.
He was arrested 13 hours later. Police are planning to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and consider applying for an arrest warrant for Park.
