“ミン・ヒジン代表と別れなくてうれしい”第一世代アイドル「S.E.S.」出身のユジン→パダ、「NewJeans」に向けた応援の声
”I'm glad we didn't break up with CEO Min Hee-jin” - First generation idol group ”SES”'s Yujin -> Bada's voice of support for ”NewJeans”
Following her fellow member Bada, Eugene from the group "SES" publicly supported junior group "NewJeans."
On the 1st, actress Eugene posted on social media a photo from her New Jeans album along with the caption, "Love
My affectionate juniors! I only met Min Hee-jin while working on the 20th anniversary album of SES, but she left an impression on me as a cool and wonderful person with special powers.
"I was really into 'New Jeans'!" she continued, "The lovely members, their music, and the retro feel were enough to make me a fan.
As a fan, I'm very happy that Min Hee Jin and New Jeans are not breaking up. I love and support New Jeans as they continue their wonderful activities."
Yujin, a member of SM Entertainment's first generation idol group "SES" from the group, recently became embroiled in a controversy surrounding the new group "NewJeans."
Prior to this, SES's Bada also publicly expressed his support for NewJewels during the dispute between HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.
At the time, Bada said, "As an idol who has a hard time just preparing for the album amidst all the complicated adult conversations, I want to know how hard it is to prepare for the album this time.
"I'm sure it's been hard for the younger generation," he said, comforting her. "We idol juniors, each of you has had a hard time in your own position, but this is a beautiful time that will never come again.
I hope that they will endure this generation well, grow up to be even better, and be happy as themselves. All the idol juniors in Korea are amazing. I'm rooting for you all."
Min Hee-jin, who is under suspicion of usurping management rights by HYBE, held her second press conference on the 31st of last month, about a month after April.
This was an opportunity for Min Hee-jin to explain her position after the court cited the application for a provisional disposition banning the exercise of voting rights filed against YBE, which resulted in her retaining her position as CEO for the time being.
Regarding the injunction being issued, CEO Nh Hee-jin said, "I feel relieved that I have been cleared of false charges," but added that for the sake of "NewJeans," the two parties must move toward a settlement.
HYBE, which said it plans to continue with the next step, dismissed two internal directors from CEO Min Hee-jin's side at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting and replaced them with Kim, who was selected by HYBE.
Juyoung CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer), Lee Jae Sang CSO (Chief Strategy Officer), and Lee Kyung Jun CFO (Chief Financial Officer) were newly appointed.
Also, HYBE's position has yet to be made clear.
