A decision on whether to arrest Park (65), who is suspected of murdering a mother and daughter at an officetel in Gangnam, Seoul, late last month, will be made as early as the 2nd.
According to legal sources, on the 2nd, Judge Choi Min-ae of the Seoul Central District Court will hold a warrant hearing for Park, who is accused of murder, at 2 p.m.

Park did not answer the question and headed to the court. On the 30th of last month, at around 6:54 pm, he stabbed a woman in her 60s, A, and her daughter (in her 30s), with a deadly weapon in an office on the sixth floor of an officetel in Gangnam-gu.

The mother and daughter were reportedly attacked by a man who had met them at a hospital. Park fled the scene immediately after the crime, taking advantage of a taxi and other vehicles. After analyzing the information, they tracked down Park and made an emergency arrest on the 31st of last month at 7:45 a.m. on a road near Namtaeryeong Station. Police suspect that Park committed the crime in retaliation for A's breakup.
