「SEVENTEEN」スングァン、「ワンダーランド」を見て故ムンビンさんを思い出す
SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan remembers the late Moonbin after watching ”Wonderland”... ”I hope that the world will become like that someday”
Group ‘SEVENTEEN’ Seungkwan reminisced about the movie ‘Wonderland’ and missed his close friend, the late Moonbin.

On the morning of the 3rd, Seungkwan recalled his memories of actor Park Bo Gum via SNS and said, "In the early days of our debut, we hardly knew each other well, but he spoke to me first on a music show with a smile and said, 'I love the song When I Grow Up.' It may have been just a coincidence that he said it because the song was good, but he was the only senior who told us at the time that the song was good instead of the title track, and I remember that he was proud of us throughout our activities."

He continued, "Every time we met after that, he never once greeted us without smiling. At the MAMA awards ceremony where we met for the first time in a long time, when we were taking a group photo after receiving the grand prize, he quickly approached us first and said, ‘Congratulations, I'm really happy for you. Let's take a photo with me too!’ He said, ‘I want to take a photo with you too! Almost ten years have passed, but his sincere words of congratulations and smile have remained the same."

Seungkwan, who was invited to the screening of Park Bo Gum's film ‘Wonderland’ because of this connection, said, "I was grateful just to be invited to the screening, and I was so moved by the film that I thought, 'I have to go and watch it quietly'. I would love to see a world like that and the hope was born that one day such a world would come. What if there was a parting of the ways that could reduce the sadness a little, while leaving the preciousness intact? Even if it is a false image."

Seungkwan said "There is only so much left, and memories are fading as they are forgotten. Instead of reminiscing alone, we should ask each other if we have eaten, what the weather is like, spend another day with each other, and when we remember, have a glass of beer. Even if we can't hear the sound of glasses clinking, if we can at least feel it in any way, be it through artificial intelligence or whatever, then wouldn't that make us feel a little less hopeless? When I vaguely imagine and then come back to reality again, the regrets I had forgotten about also come rushing in", he said, expressing his nostalgia.

Finally, Seungkwan said, "These days I feel more warm and precious towards people. I can't be a good person to everyone, but I want to be a good person to all the people who have helped me live, and I started thinking about it again while watching my seniors." He also expressed his gratitude towards Park Bo Gum.

Along with this, Seungkwan also posted photos taken with Park Bo-gum in the past as well as photos of the late Moonbin before his death, inferring that he missed his friend who had passed away before him while watching the film. Kim Tae-yong's film Wonderland tells the story of reuniting with loved ones through Wonderland, a video calling service that uses artificial intelligence to restore the dead.

The late Moonbin, a member of the group ASTRO, passed away in April last year. A wave of mourning in the sad music industry followed, and Seungkwan, who was known as a particularly close confidant, said to the late Moonbin at the time "I love you, a lot, a lot. When we meet again, I want you to hug me again." Since then, Seungkwan and other close friends have talked about and reminisced about the late Moonbin on various anniversaries and special occasions.
