中国の端午節連休、日本旅行の予約数が前年の2倍に=中国報道
China reports that bookings for trips to Japan during Dragon Boat Festival doubled from last year
As the Dragon Boat Festival holiday (June 8-10) approaches in China, the number of reservations for related travel products is increasing.
Even though the holiday period is only three days, overseas travel products are also showing high popularity. Accommodations in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries ranked highly in search terms.
Japan is popular due to its proximity to China and the weak yen, and the number of reservations for trips to Japan has doubled compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the number of travel reservations to countries and regions where visa exemptions apply also increased compared to the previous year.
The increase was clear. According to data from Ctrip, Malaysia saw a 54% increase, the United Arab Emirates a 141% increase, Tunisia a 171% increase, and Iran a 100% increase.
There was also a notable increase in travel to European regions where visas are exempt, with reservations to the Republic of Serbia increasing by 55% and Bosnia and Herzegovina increasing by 71%.
