On the 7th of this month, Osan Police Station in Gyeonggi Province indicted two people, including Mr. A, in his 40s, on charges of rape and child abuse under the Child and Adolescent Sexual Protection Act.
In addition, A's girlfriend B, who had been taking around the victims whose missing persons had been reported without notifying the police, was sent to the prosecutor's office without detention on suspicion of violating the Missing Children Act.
It was discovered that on April 18th of this year, Mr. A and his accomplices approached two 13-year-old middle school students, including Mr. C, who has borderline intellectual disability, while they were playing in Han River Park, and lured them to an adult entertainment establishment in Osan.
It was subsequently revealed that Mr. A and others took Ms. C and others to brothels in Seoul and Osan that he jointly operated, where they committed crimes such as sexually assaulting them and forcing them into prostitution.
Mr. A reportedly continued to threaten the junior high school students, saying things like, "I will find you and kill you," and "If you don't do what I say, I will send you to China."
Mr. C and his family were finally able to contact their parents on the 5th of last month and returned to their families.
After an investigation, A and others were arrested on the 30th of last month. During the police investigation, A and others stated that they had engaged in sexual relations with the victim with consent and thought that the victim was an 18-year-old high school student.
It was found that they had confirmed that they had committed the crimes despite being aware that Ms. C and others were minors. The crime of rape of a minor is committed when the minor is between the ages of 13 and 16, even with the consent of the victim.
The law applies to those aged 19 or older who commit adultery or sexual misconduct with older people. The parents of the victims blame themselves for a large part of the responsibility, but they also say that they "used to treat their children as sexual objects."
"I cannot tolerate this. I believe there should be no place for such people to have a say," he said, explaining his reasons for providing information on the comments.
The police are expanding their investigation to include prostitutes who sexually assaulted C and others in A's ARRANGING, as well as entertainment facility staff who participated in the sex crimes.
It's great.
