This is how Tang Wei, Suzy, Park BoGum, and GongYoo's ”Wonderland” was born... Behind-the-scenes stills revealed
The stills behind the scenes of the film "Wonderland" have been released. The film "Wonderland" is about a group of people who meet their loved ones through the video chat service "Wonderland," which uses artificial intelligence to revive the dead.
The film tells the story of a reunion with Tang Wei, Suzy (formermiss A), Park BoGum, Jung Yu-mi, Choi Woo-shik, GongYoo and others who have performed numerous works so far.
For the actors, it was not easy to act in the middle of nowhere while looking at their cell phones.
For the actors who had to work hard, they showed them actual footage from the shoot, and director Kim Tae Yeon and the actors playing their co-stars helped them practice their lines on set, without any hesitation.
In particular, Jung Yu-mi and Choi Woo-shik, who appeared as planners for the Wonderland service and had more CG shots than anyone else, are the monitors who will materialize the Wonderland service.
He had to film while looking at empty screens all over the studio, from the touch screens that adjust the customer's memory data to computer screens.
Shik said, "Maybe it was because I was acting with someone who is really easygoing that I was able to get through the filming, even though it wasn't easy. We discussed the small details of our hand movements and eye contact, and we all worked well together."
He expressed his gratitude to Jung Yu-mi, who played his co-star, saying, "I was not familiar with her so it was difficult, but it was a performance that I could not have done in other productions, so it was very memorable."
It was a new experience to act without any preparation and to hear the sound and have my breathing change when I act," he said, expressing his thoughts on the special shoot.
When filming the scenes inside Wonderland Service, overseas locations and huge sets were used to give the film a realistic feel.
For the scenes featuring the archaeologist AI "Bailey," Tang Wei and Gong Yoo actually filmed in Yeonjun, and for the scenes featuring the astronaut AI "Taeju," they actually measured and built a space station.
The film was shot on a small set, allowing him to immerse himself in his role. "Wonderland" is currently being shown to rave reviews in Korea.
