”The wall is cracked”...M4.8 earthquake hits Buan, South Korea; reports of tremors continue

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck Buan, Jeollabuk-do, and citizens are reporting being affected.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration and fire authorities on the 12th, by 8:40 a.m. today, there were 137 reports of people feeling the tremor in North Jeolla alone.
A warehouse in Buan-myeon, Jeollabuk-do was reported to have a cracked wall, and a house in Haseo-myeon was reported to have a broken window.

The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a flash report of magnitude 4.7 one minute after the earthquake struck, but revised it to magnitude 4.8 six minutes later after detailed analysis. This earthquake is the largest to have occurred this year.
This is the 16th largest earthquake since the Japan Meteorological Agency began earthquake observations in 1978.
