On the 12th, JIN posted on the global fan community platform Weverse, "I would like to thank those who came today and took beautiful photos of my discharge and the reporters. I also thank all the ARMY (the name of the fans) who came and loved me in front of the company when I was discharged from the military."
He then gave a happy greeting to the fans, saying, "I couldn't greet you properly because I thought it would be too crowded, but I really appreciate you all - my ARMY is the best."
On this day, JIN finished his military service and returned to society. jin, who was the first of the ‘BTS’ members to enlist in December 2022, served as an assistant instructor at the Army's 5th Infantry Division Recruit Education Battalion in Yeoncheon, Kyonggi-do, before being safely discharged.
The members of BTS also took leave to celebrate JIN's discharge by mobilising to the unit in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. JIN shared the joy of his discharge with the members and later greeted his fans with a live broadcast.
Meanwhile, JIN will participate in the ‘2024 FESTA’ offline event to be held in the Songpa-gu area of Seoul on 13th. At this event, JIN will hold a hugging event ‘JIN's Greetings’ for 1,000 people.
