JIN (BTS) revealed his thoughts on his discharge from the military after one year and six months of military life.
JIN opened up his story through Weverse Live on the 12th, saying, "My friends who lived with me for a year and six months choked up and cried to see me off," and that his tears flowed naturally at the sight of them.
JIN went on to praise himself, saying that he had done very well in military life. In fact, JIN boasted that during his period of service, he had received the ‘Army Valour Award’, a couple of divisional commander-level certificates and seven or eight battalion commander-level commendations.
JIN also revealed rolling papers written by his fellow generals, saying, "I'm embarrassed to say it, but I was very popular in my unit," and drew attention to the fact that "everyone wrote really long and dense rolling papers."
JIN met with ARMY (fan name) on the 13th, the day after his discharge from the military. He will participate in the debut anniversary event ‘2024 FESTA’ at the indoor gymnasium in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
JIN will hug 1,000 fans during the first part of the FESTA event, ‘JIN's Greetings’. This event was prepared at the suggestion of JIN, who wanted to breathe with his fans through a knowledge curtain.
First, JIN said about the controversial application procedure for the hugging event "It seems I didn't pay attention. I apologise."
JIN said, "I insisted on doing a 'free hug', but they said it might be dangerous [at the office], so they decided to do it for the winners." He stated that "I said I would do 3,000 people, but out of that 1,000 people". He continued, "The company and I prepared this with a good feeling" and asked the fans for their understanding, "This started with the desire to hug the many fans who have waited a tremendous amount of time, one year and six months, so please be generous and accept it with that feeling."
