12 Seoul city public bicycles dumped in river... Police investigating
Police have launched an investigation after receiving a report that several Seoul city public bicycles, called "Dtareungi," had been abandoned in Seongbukcheon Stream.
The Seoul Seongbuk Police Station has set up a public bicycle called "Daerungi" operated by the city of Seoul under the Seongbuk Bridge in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
On the 13th, it was revealed that they were pursuing the suspect who had abandoned the vehicle and disappeared. On the 12th, a report was received that several Ttareungi had been abandoned under the 3rd Seongbuk Bridge.
According to CCTV footage from that time, a man appeared in front of the Ttareungi Rental Office at Seongbuk Bridge 3 at around 4 a.m. on the 12th.
A man wearing black gloves picked up one of the parked bicycles and threw it under the bridge, then threw all the bicycles next to it into the river and onto the walking path.
In less than two minutes, the man threw away 12 Ttareungyi and then quickly left the scene.
On the 9th, police received a report that several Ttareungi had been abandoned. Police are investigating the suspects based on CCTV footage from around the crime scene.
While tracking down the perpetrator, the plan is to also verify whether the two incidents were committed by the same person.
