Following the release of the movie "Veteran 2," director Ryoo Seung-wan has finalized the casting lineup for his next film "HUMINT" and is about to begin full-scale production.
He has teamed up again with Jo In Sung, with whom he worked on "Smuggling 1970" and "Mogadishu 14 Days", and will be joined by Park Jeong Min, Park Hae Joon, and Nana from the previous film "Smuggling 1970".
The casting has been confirmed and is garnering attention. "HUMINT" is a spy action movie about secret agents from South and North Korea who clash while uncovering a crime occurring on the Vladivostok border.
Starting with his debut film "Die Bad," he has recently released "Mogadishu: 14 Days to Escape" and "Smuggling 1970," as well as a variety of other action films.
Director Ryoo Seung-wan, who has achieved this feat, plans to develop a more mature approach to the spy action genre through "HUMINT."
Director Ryoo Seung-wan's previous film, "Mogadishu: 14 Days to Escape"
Jo In Sung, who showed off her unique acting transformation through her memorable action sequences and character in "Smuggler's 1970," will take on the role of Section Chief Cho of the National Intelligence Service.
Park Jeong Min, who has been showing off his talent, will take on the role of Park Gun, the boss of the North Korean Ministry of State Security. The two have previously worked together in "Smuggler's 1970," so expectations are high for a more intimate performance.
Park Hae Joon, who will be appearing in a Ryoo Seung Wan film for the first time, chose "HUMINT" as her next project after "Spring in Seoul."
He will play the role of North Korean Consul General Hwang Jisung. Nana will also tease viewers with her charming acting as Choi Song-hwa, a restaurant employee in North Korea.
