President Yoon's approval rating remains unchanged for 10 consecutive weeks in South Korea

The results of a public opinion poll announced on the 17th showed that South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating has remained in the low 30 percent range for 10 consecutive weeks.
According to a survey conducted by the South Korean polling agency "Realmeter" on the 10th to 14th of this month among 2,504 voters aged 18 and over,
President Yoon's approval rating in the second week of June was calculated to be 30.1%, down 1.4 percentage points from the previous survey, while his disapproval rating rose 0.9 percentage points to 66.0%.
Meanwhile, the approval rating for political parties was 35.9% for the ruling People's Power Party and 35.4% for the Democratic Party of Japan. The ruling party rose 1.4% from the previous survey, while the Democratic Party of Japan fell 0.2%.
This was followed by the Homeland Reform Party (13.2%), the New Reform Party (4.9%), the New Future Party (1.5%), the Progressive Party (1.5%), and other parties (1.5%), with independents making up 6.2%.
The party support rate survey was conducted on the 13th and 14th of this month, targeting 1,001 men and women aged 18 or older.
