”Tuition exemption” if students agree to sexual relations... Horrifying ”barbaric act” by head of acting school in Korea
The head of a South Korean acting school denies the allegations that he sexually assaulted an underage high school girl in exchange for waiving her overdue tuition fees.
According to the Korean TV station JTBC on the 17th, in October of last year, Ms. A (female), who was a third-year high school student, was found dead at the home of B, the head of an acting school.
She was the victim of sexual assault. "Representative B received a call from the students saying that he would give them a birthday present, so he invited them to his house and offered them alcohol. Representative B then said, 'I will discuss it with Mr. A.'
A's side claims that, "A told the other students to go home, saying that he had something to do, and A stood up and said that he was going to go home with his friends, but Representative B stopped him."
Representative B was alone with Mr. A and pointed out that he was overdue for three months' worth of tuition fees, and said, "If you agree to have a sexual relationship with me, you won't have to pay tuition fees."
Mr. A reported the sexual assault to the police, and his parents found out about it when they received a notice from the police.
When the parents asked their daughter (Ms. A) about the abuse, she showed them the footage that had been filmed at Representative B's house.
In the video taken by Mr. A, Representative B is seen kneeling in his underwear and saying, "I'm sorry, I misunderstood. Can you understand me?" and "Please forgive me just once."
"I'm sorry," he said repeatedly. In response, Mr. A complained to Representative B, "What is the misunderstanding?" Representative B then said in a phone call with Mr. A's father, "I'm sorry. What should we do?"
However, it has now been reported that he has reversed his position, saying "there was no sexual relationship," and is denying the allegations of sexual assault.
Representative B was referred to the prosecutor's office on suspicion of sexual assault and other charges in violation of the Juvenile Sexual Protection Act, but was not arrested and is currently running the cram school.
