In terms of trade partners, the European Union (EU), ASEAN, and the United States rank high.
The value of exports and imports with the country increased by 2.1% from the same period last year, setting a new record high. Among export items, ships showed a high growth rate, increasing 109.3% year-on-year to 27.33 billion former (approximately 59.8 billion yen).
Meanwhile, the top import item was integrated circuits, which increased 6.4% year-on-year to 107.21 billion yen (2.35 trillion yen).
On the 20th, Shanghai Customs announced 36 measures to promote the smooth flow of foreign trade.
