The movie "Escape" has the highest advance sales rate of any Korean film. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated network, as of 6:35 pm on the 23rd, 10 days before the film's release, the movie "Escape" has the highest advance sales rate of any Korean film.
This surpassed the previous films in this summer's film wars, such as "Hijack" and "Handsome Guys," proving the passionate interest being shown in "Escape."
"Escape" is about a North Korean soldier, Gyu-nam (played by Lee Je Hoon), who deserts for the sake of tomorrow, and the man who chases after Gyu-nam to protect today.
The film depicts the life-risking pursuit of Hyun-sang (played by Koo Kyo Hwan), a security officer who is trying to escape from a mysterious man. It will be released in theaters on July 3rd.
