ZICO (Block B) has teased legal action against those who post malicious content. On the 24th (today), ZICO's management office announced on Weverse, "Our company has decided to take legal action against the artists of our company.
Recently, malicious posts and comments, including defamation, insults, and the spreading of false facts, have been made indiscriminately on various online communities and social media regarding our artist ZICO.
"We have confirmed that the matter is not related to our artists, and we are taking strong action," the statement continued. "The malicious rumors and false facts that have been clearly revealed are being spread.
"The acts of fraud have become serious enough that they cannot be ignored, and we have determined that strong legal action against them is urgently needed," he said. "As a result, we will target all online communities and SNS.
"We will collect posts and comments and submit a complaint to the investigative authorities, and will continue to check for malicious posts on a regular basis and submit complaints on a regular basis."
This is believed to be due to a series of malicious posts on Zico's SNS. Many of the malicious posters appeared on SBS' "That's What I Want to Know" program on the 22nd of this month.
