The head of an acting school who sexually assaulted a high school girl is actually a famous actor? (Korea)
In South Korea, the head of an acting school is under fire for allegedly sexually assaulting an underage high school girl in exchange for exempting her from tuition fees. Meanwhile, information has spread that "the head is an actor."
According to a program on the Korean TV station "JTBC" on the 17th of this month, Ms. A (female), who was a third-year high school student, was sexually assaulted in the home of Mr. B, the president of an acting school, in October of last year.
"Representative B received a call from the students saying that he would be giving them a birthday present, so he invited them to his house and offered them alcohol. After that, Representative B said that he had something to discuss with Mr. A, and
Mr. A's side claims that "After the other students were told to go home, Mr. A stood up and said he was going to go home with his friends, but Representative B stopped him."
Representative B was alone with Mr. A, and explained that he was overdue for three months' worth of tuition fees, and said, "If you agree to have a sexual relationship with me,
"You don't have to pay your tuition fees," he told her, before sexually assaulting her. Ms. A reported the sexual assault to the police, and her parents found out about it after seeing a police report.
Representative B later apologized to A's father on the phone, saying, "I'm sorry. How can I make you forgive me?" However, he has now reversed his position and said, "There is no truth to the sexual relationship.
Representative B was referred to the prosecutor's office on charges of sexual assault and other offenses in violation of the Juvenile Sexual Protection Act, but was not arrested and is still running the school.
A JTBC program representative said of Representative B, "He is an award-winning, well-known actor who appears on TV," and added, "If you saw his face, you'd probably think everyone knew him."
In response to this information, netizens responded with comments such as, "I looked into it and although I couldn't really tell from the name, I knew it when I saw the face," and "Please reveal your identity."
On the other hand, when the parent asked the daughter (Ms. A) about the incident, the daughter showed a video taken at the home of Representative B. In the video taken by Mr. A, Representative B was seen kneeling in his underwear and saying, "I'm sorry.
"I misunderstood you. Can you please understand me?" "Please forgive me just once." In response to this, Mr. A appealed to Representative B, "What is the misunderstanding?"
