Jaejung, what's next for the TVXQ issue... ”I hope there's a place for reconciliation... I also dream of changing the world”
Singer Kim Jaejoong reflected on his 20 years in the entertainment industry.

On the 25th, Jaejoong held a round interview to celebrate the release of his full album 'FLOWER GARDEN' at iNKODE's office building in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

This full album, which Jaejoong is releasing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut, contains the past, present and future he has walked and will walk. He said "I had a lot of fun and a lot of not-so-fun times. I tasted great success too smoothly since my debut, but there were times when things weren't so smooth", and "I actually appreciated that process too. Because of the sweetness, the bitterness was also intense, and because of the bitterness, I was in a state where I could not feel pleasure with a certain amount of sweetness. Now I am an adult who appreciates both small and big things and can distinguish between good and bad, and I appreciate that process", she said matter-of-factly.

The driving force that helped him endure the difficult time was his fans. Jaejoong said, "There are fans whose presence is blurred and weak. There are fans who are like buds with a green lawn and a presence, and there are those who become the background, like the calm title of 'Flower Garden'". There may have been reasons for me to leave due to many hardships, failures and incidents, but regardless of those reasons and conditions, there were people who quietly supported me by my side without asserting their presence, so I've spent my time trying to do even one thing," he expressed his gratitude.

Jaejoong debuted in 2003 as a member of SM Entertainment's group TVXQ, but left TVXQ i in 2009 to form the group JYJ with Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun. They submitted an application to the court for a provisional disposition to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, claiming that the content of their exclusive contract with SM Entertainment was unfair. The situation caused a stir in the entertainment industry and the issue of unfair contracts became a hot topic, and a standard contract for the entertainment industry was introduced.

Jaejoong, who remained in 'JYJ' with Junsu, said of his complete activities, "I don't think I will mix everything if I have to. Rock elements and Junsu's ballads, or musical elements, then it would be dance music," while adding, "I had knee surgery; I'm in my late 40s and it's my knee. I'm open to it, so we've both talked about it to that extent, 'We'll dance together, but we'll adjust the dance a little bit'. I would like to do that one day. It's our 20th anniversary together, so I want to do something together in a monumental place that is meaningful to both of us'.

However, for 'TVXQ', he said, "It would be very good if we communicate directly, but we do it through acquaintances" and added, "I hope we can create a place for reconciliation. It has to develop into something like 'I hope we get to know each other better'." (YouTube) How good it would be if you could appear on 'Jaechingu' one day," he said about the possibilities.

Jaejoong is active in many fields, from idol activities to acting, variety shows, YouTube and running his own Enter company, iNKODE. He said, "I want to expand the scope of my own activities and the direction of my challenges in the same way for a long time to come" and that he "established a company, so naturally I want to manage it as well, and as a senior member I want to support the new artists coming out of iNKODE well so that they can succeed and enjoy music". He expressed his hopes.

Jaejoong said, "After all, when you run a company anew, you have to look at the hard side of business relationships and the ruthless process that the numbers prove. It can't be helped", but added, "I'm going to include a lot of player's heart. Since I have tried group activities, I think I have to empathise with the members in concrete and detailed ways and bring out their strengths", he said of his direction.

After going freelance, Jaejoong received love calls from many affiliated companies, but in the end he chose to establish an affiliated company because "I didn't want to go because I needed money and conditions. I wanted to see if the mindset of those people and I would fit or not," he said, "I have a dream of creating a part of the world. The process was not very pleasant, but I think the creation of a standard contract in our country was a great contribution to Enter. I would like to create a big wind through my company in the same way. It would be a good starting point. Many people seem to be doing a lot of speculative business, but I've seen a lot of their children's dreams and many of their children's dreams go in the wrong direction," he said, adding that he has a vision to break the vicious circle in the entertainment industry and bring about change.
