俳優ハ・ジョンウ、難しくなった映画市場につのる関心….「できる限り最善を尽くしてみる」
Actor Ha Jung Woo, growing interest in the tough film market.... ”I'll try my best as much as I can”
Actor Ha Jung Woo shared his thoughts on the difficult film market. The pandemic has put the theater industry in crisis, while the OTT market has grown.
Through these processes, the film market continues to change.
In an interview with Herald POP, Ha Jung Woo confessed, "As an actor, I think all I can do is do my best with the job I'm given."
On this day, Ha Jung Woo said, "It seems like the paradigm has changed tremendously since COVID-19. It seems like the pace is changing quickly.
Frankly, I'm a part of it, so I won't know until it's over," he said, adding, "But that doesn't mean I can keep up with the speed at which it changes."
He continued, "I've been thinking about what I should do as a leading actor, but there's nothing particularly outstanding about it. Rather than living by inertia as usual, I want to continue speaking as I have always done.
I think the only thing we can do is to do a lot and live with enthusiasm and a sensual attitude." Ha Jung Woo added, "Previously, the hottest release dates were late July to early August.
But that has decreased and it seems like there is no longer a distinction between busy and non-busy seasons. I won't know until the current trend passes, and the only thing I can do is to do my best with what I'm given."
"I think the way forward now is to take a greater interest in returning to the world and look around. It gives me more ideas," he said.
At the same time, "I felt directly that the hijacking was over.
So when I was shooting "Lobby," I had to work on a tight budget. The environment has become that much tougher. Maybe someone has to make more dedication, sacrifice, and put in more effort than they did in the past.
"It seems like there are some things I need to do," he said, "but my thinking is simple: I'll try my best and see what happens."
If you have to tighten your belt, tighten it more and give it your all.
I don't think these difficult times will last forever. It's true that they are difficult and tough, but you won't know until it's over, so I feel like I need to do my best."
Meanwhile, Ha Jung Woo's new film "Hijacked" is currently being shown to rave reviews and tells the story of the extreme circumstances that occur when a passenger plane is abducted in mid-air over South Korea in 1971.
