FTISLAND's Lee HONG-KI successfully completed the first performance of the musical "Your Lie in April". HONG-KI was the first to perform the musical "Your Lie in April" at the Seoul Arts Center CJ Towol Theater on the 2nd.
He made his debut as Arima Kousei in the musical "Your Lie in April". The musical "Your Lie in April" is based on the work of Japanese manga artist Naoshi Arakawa, and tells the story of a promising young musician who experiences meeting and parting with loved ones.
This is an exciting story of adolescence in which one's talent blossoms. HONG-KI, who plays the role of Arima Kousei in the film, has distanced himself from the piano due to a traumatic experience, but finds himself falling back into the world of music.
He portrayed the emotions of the characters who changed and grew over time with his deep acting, giving the play a convincing performance. In addition, he drew the audience in with his powerful, attractive and rich vocals, drawing them to tears, and showing off his perfect chemistry with his co-star.
The musical "Your Lie in April" starring HONG-KI will be performed at the Seoul Arts Center CJ Towol Theater until August 25th.
