China's domestic passenger flights in first half of the year reached 2,332,400, up 7% from same period last year: Chinese report

The number of domestic passenger flights in China in the first half of the year exceeded 2.3 million. From January to June this year, the total number of domestic passenger flights in China reached 2.3324 million, up 7% from the same period last year.
This is also a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2019 before the COVID-19 virus outbreak. During the same period, the cumulative number of international and regional flights (Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan) was 333,300.
This is a 154% increase from the same period last year, but a 30% decrease from the same period in 2019. Meanwhile, for air cargo flights during the same period, domestic air cargo flights increased 22% from the same period last year to a cumulative total of 40,300 flights, and international air cargo flights increased 20% from the same period last year to a cumulative total of 40,300 flights.
The number of flights increased 4% year-on-year to 70,300.
