Korea Artificial Intelligence Promotion Association holds inaugural meeting and seminar to discuss AI technology and future prospects
On the 29th of last month, KAIPA (Korea Artificial Intelligence Promotion Association) held its inaugural general meeting and seminar at Hashed Lounge in Gangnam Station, Seoul, to discuss the current state and development direction of the artificial intelligence field.
More than 100 people, including people from the AI industry and academic experts, participated in the event and held in-depth discussions on the current state and development direction of artificial intelligence technology.
The event was held in two parts: a seminar and a general meeting. At the general meeting, the purpose of the association's establishment was shared, and the future direction of the association and business plans were decided.
Dr. Kim Young-gu was elected as chairman, and CEO Park Chan-gi was elected as president, with a total of 16 directors. Dr. Kim Young-gu spoke about the importance of the AI industry and the vision of the association.
President Park Chan-gi shared the association's future plans and goals, and explained the social value of AI technology and the role of the association.
In the celebration message, Seoul Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Cho Hee-young congratulated the founding of the association through a video message and called for various educational measures to be implemented in preparation for the digital transformation era in the education sector.
Professor Park Hee-myung's presentation on "Design" was held in the first and second part of the seminar.
The event began with a presentation on the impact and prospects of artificial intelligence in the future, and LiberVance CEO Lee Hoon-ho introduced the problems of Web2AI and Bitcoin and WorldLand as solutions.
Next, Kim Cheol-woo, CEO of MOBLDI, explained the recent development direction of AI, compared the advantages and disadvantages of various language models, and introduced the characteristics and use cases of each model.

He also emphasized that AI is leading innovation in various industrial sectors and will continue to play an important role in the development of the Korean economy.
Chairman Kim Young-gu said, "It would be great if we could create our own AI and create shared value that would actually increase our income and improve our quality of life as humans."
He concluded the seminar by expressing his high expectations of Chairman Park Chang-gi and his gratitude to all those who have worked hard with him on the front lines to establish this association.
This inaugural general meeting and seminar will be a forum for discussing the various possibilities for application of AI technology and future prospects, sharing the vision of the Korea AI Promotion Association and strengthening networking among members.
