Travel agency in Sanya, China fined 200,000 for commercial bribery - Chinese media

On the 3rd, the Sanya Municipal Tourism, Culture, Radio, Film and Sports Bureau of China announced that it had imposed administrative fines on a travel agency and an individual for committing commercial bribery.
On June 27, citizen A reported a private travel agency in Sanya to the relevant authorities, alleging that he was suspected of commercial bribery.
Upon receiving the information from Mr. A, the relevant authorities in the city immediately organized an investigative team and began an investigation. At noon on the 28th of the same month, they questioned businesses and individuals suspected of being involved in commercial bribery and secured evidence.
As a result, the commercial bribery cases were largely confirmed to be true. Based on the regulations, the city imposed administrative penalties of 200,000 yen (approximately 4.43 million yen) on the businesses and individuals who committed the bribery.
In addition, a reward was offered to Mr. A for providing clues about illegal operations in the travel market.
