”DREAM CONCERT” announces interim results of DREAM ROOKIE fan voting

In the interim ranking announcement of the 'DREAM ROOKIE 1st Stage Fan Poll' organised by the Korean Entertainment Producers Association and run by Fanboost Inc, rookie group 'POW' ranked first with 13.28% of the total votes, followed by 'XODIAC' (11.56%), 'BEWAVE' (7.64%) ), 'SEVENUS' (7.23%) and 'HORIZON' (6.95%) followed behind.

'POW' and 'XODIAC' were in first and second place in the second week following their first week, while 'BEWAVE', who debuted in April 2024, ranked first among the female idol groups participating in the DREAM ROOKIE poll, confirming their solid fan power. Also in fourth place was 'SEVENUS', which moved up one step compared to last week and moved one step closer to DREAM ROOKIE.

According to a source, "The DREAM ROOKIE voting, which has entered its second week, has seen a fierce battle for the top spot with 19 groups changing their positions compared to last week, and with more than 10 days left in the first round of voting, we are analysing that there is still a chance for groups in the lower ranks to be chosen as DREAM ROOKIE." The report stated.

A total of 28 rookie groups are participating in the 'DREAM ROOKIE 1st Fan Vote', and the participation of the nominated rookie groups has been active, with videos encouraging voting continuously being updated on X (formerly Twitter), the official SNS of K-POP SEOUL, as well as on the Japanese Korean information portal Through partnerships with wowKorea, Maho Cast and Taiwan's K-MONSTAR, promotion is also taking place together in each country, with active participation by overseas users.

The 'DREAM ROOKIE 1st Fan Vote' is being held from 18th June to 15th July on the official voting app 'K-POP SEOUL' and affiliated apps, with the top 20 groups from the first round of voting advancing to the 'DREAM ROOKIE 2nd Stage Vote' starting in July, followed in August by the DREAM ROOKIE final four pairs will proceed to the 'DREAM ROOKIE 3rd stage'. In the final 'final stage voting', a vote is held to select the best super rookie from the four DREAM ROOKIE pairs, and the results are announced on the 30th September.

The final four groups selected as DREAM ROOKIEs will not only perform at the Dream Concert to be held at the Goyang Sports Complex in October, but will also receive support for marketing promotions in overseas markets such as Japan, China and Taiwan, and will also have the opportunity to work on the global stage and enjoy a variety of benefits.

Meanwhile, the Dream Concert, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, has been a representative K-pop concert in South Korea since its inception in 1995, without missing a single year. Over the past 30 years, the number of domestic and international visitors to the Dream Concert has reached approximately 1.98 million and the number of K-pop artists who have participated in the Dream Concert has reached 622 groups, making it the longest-running and largest-scale performance officially certified by the KRI (Korea Record Institute), the record certification body, in 2019.
