Actor Sol Kyung Gu expressed his admiration for Jung Do Yeong and Park Hae Soo. Jung Do Yeong is currently appearing on stage for the first time in 27 years since "Rita's Education" in 1997, in the play "The Cherry Orchard."
Hwang Jung Min, Park Hae Soo, Lee Hee Jun, and others are also steadily taking on the challenge of acting.
In an interview with Herald POP, Sol Kyung Gu was full of praise for the play "The Cherry Orchard." Sol Kyung Gu said, "In fact, I do get offers to act in plays.
I was thinking of doing a play as well, but when it came down to it I couldn't make the decision. If I asked to do it, I had to do it, but I didn't think it was something I should decide like that, so I turned it down for the time being."
"I saw 'The Cherry Orchard' and was jealous. I was worried I would fall asleep because I went to see it after an all-night shoot, but I was wide awake. I couldn't take my eyes off it for the entire two and a half hours.
"After the show ended, I met Kim Sung Ryoung and we both said it was really fun. I'm really jealous of Park Hae Soo and Jung Do Yeong.
"I was shocked," he said. Sol Kyung Gu is starring in his first TV series, the Netflix drama "Whirlwind." "Whirlwind" is about a prime minister who decides to assassinate the president in order to turn the world upside down.
The film depicts the confrontation between the Prime Minister (played by Sol Kyung Gu) and the Deputy Prime Minister of Economy, who tries to stop him and seize power.
