China's National Bureau of Statistics: June CPI up 0.2% from year-ago: China report
The National Bureau of Statistics of China announced the June Consumer Price Index (CPI) on the 10th. According to the data released, the national CPI rose 0.2% year-on-year in June. Of that, the increase was 0.2% in urban areas.
In the United States, prices rose 2.7%, while prices of non-food goods rose 0.8%, consumer goods prices fell 0.1%, and services prices rose 0.7%.
Looking at the average value from January to June, the national CPI rose 0.1% compared to the same period last year.
The national CPI for June fell 0.2% from the previous month, both in urban and rural areas.
Food prices fell 0.6%, non-food prices fell 0.2%, consumer goods prices fell 0.4%, and service prices remained at the same level as the previous month.
