FTISLAND, a trio, releases their first full album in 8 years, despite members leaving the group but their identity remains strong

The three-member band FTISLAND has returned with a full album for the first time in eight years. Today (10th) at 6 p.m., FTISLAND's seventh full album "Serious" will be released.
"FTISLAND" will be releasing a full album for the first time in about eight years since their 6th full album "Where's the truth?" in 2016.
"erious" is an album that breaks the stereotypes surrounding FTISLAND, and shows the true "me" by breaking away from the "me" defined by the world, and walking my own path.
The album's title song, which has the same name as the album, also contains this meaning. "Serious" starts off as a minimalist and dark track, and gradually becomes grandiose.
The choir sound expresses the determination to continue working towards an unchanging goal. The members also participated in writing the lyrics and composing the song, adding to the authenticity and perfection of the song.

FTISLAND, which debuted as a five-member group in 2007, has had a rocky road since the departure of a member.
Jung Joon Young left the group in 2019. The leader, Choi Jong Hoon, was involved in the "BURNING SUN Gate" with VI (former BIGBANG) and Jung Joon Young.
Not only was he unable to lead the group, but he left the group with shame on his face. Thus, Lee Hong-ki, Choi Min-hwan, and Lee Jae-jin remained in FTISLAND and formed the team.
They have visited their fans through mini albums and concerts, and have shown their unchanging passion and determination for music by preparing a full album for the first time in about eight years.
Appearing on the YouTube channel "VIVO TV," HONG-KI revealed about the three-member group "FTISLAND," "We used to fight a lot, but these days we get along really well."
