The production presentation for SBS's new Fri-Sat TV series "Good Partner" was held, with director Kim Ga-ram, Jang Nara, Nam Ji-hyeon, Kim Jun-han, and Pyo Ye-jien in attendance.
"Good Partner," written by divorce lawyer Choi Yuna, is a story about a star lawyer, Cha Eun-kyung, for whom divorce is a "career change," and a new lawyer, for whom divorce is "for the first time."
The TV series is about the cold and hot human courtroom office of lawyer Han Yuri. Jang Nara plays Cha Eun Kyung, a straightforward, stubborn, and efficient veteran star lawyer, and Nam Ji Hee plays
Jung will be playing the role of Han Yuri, a passionate new lawyer in her first year in the workforce who cannot stand injustice when she sees it, and will be showcasing her feminine side.
Previously, Jang Nara met a man six years younger than her on the SBS TV series "VIP - Secret Gaze."
She even got married to the director of photography for "The Guardian: The Movie" in 2022, and managed to achieve both work and love. Despite being a newlywed, she said that the reason she appeared in a TV series about divorce was because of her husband's strong recommendation.
Jang Nara said, "When I read the script at home, my husband read it with me. He has a big stake in being in this TV series."
He said that the episodes that triggered the plot were somewhat detached, and that the TV series plans to tell various stories about the institutions of family and divorce.
What did you focus on for the character? Jang Nara said, "I unconditionally set the standard for Han Yuri (Nam Ji Hee)."
When I read the story, I realized that YURI is a solid, reliable, honest and healthy character, but I was wondering how to make this character cool.
Will it be possible to become a boss that Han YURI in the workplace does not want to meet, and will raise the tone and make the text more brazen, and make the recent words super annoying, and do research.
Jang Nara, who is returning to SBS after five years since "VIP - Secret Gaze", showed a special affection for the broadcasting station,
"I think they are my benefactor. I was able to try out a new style of acting through SBS's 'VIP - Secret Gaze', and on top of that I met a really good team. And I even got married. Long live SBS," he joked.
He then drew attention by saying, "When I start a TV series for the first time, I have to do it well. I just wanted to do it well."
Meanwhile, SBS's new Fri-Sat TV series "Good Partner" is scheduled to premiere on the 12th at 10 p.m.
