South Korean performance production company EMK Musical Company has released sketches from the practice room for the upcoming musical "The Rose of Versailles."
In the photos released on the 12th through the official SNS channel, the actors, who had undergone about two and a half months of training, were seen working up a sweat as they geared up for their final performance.
The main character, Oscar Francois de Jarjayes, played by Ok Ju Hyun (Fin.KL), Kim JiWoo, and Jung Yuji (formerBESTie) exude strength.
The actress expressed the charisma appropriate for the character with her expressive facial expressions, drawing the attention of the pre-audience. "The Rose of Versailles" is a creative musical based on the long-selling Japanese manga of the same name.
The story of Oscar, the youngest daughter of a distinguished family, who becomes captain of the Royal Guard in accordance with her father's wishes that she must carry on the family's honor, is set during the French Revolution.
The play will depict true freedom, love, and humanity, incorporating the solemn flow of history. It will open on the 16th at the Chungmu Arts Center Grand Theater in Seoul and run until October 13th.
