(G)I-DLE reveals secrets from their debut... Innovative group name and stage name candidates make people laugh

(G)I-DLE has released an episode from their debut days, drawing attention. (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Minnie appeared on the web variety show "Condaehee" released on the 13th.
Miyeon said, "I heard from a friend that CUBE was looking for Korean members to sing, so I auditioned and decided to debut."
Minnie also said, "I was attending a singing class when a staff member from Cube came and I auditioned at their class in Thailand."
Next, Miyeon and Minnie revealed an episode in which they may have debuted under a different group name other than "(G)I-DLE."
Minnie said, "There were other candidates for the group name. One of them was 'Anime Color.'" Miyeon responded, "There were also stage names for the members. We chose the color we liked, and then..."
"We used to put the name of an animal before the name of the character," Miyeon said. "I like the color green, so I got the name 'Green Crocodile.'" Minnie said, "I like the color pink. Minnie got the name from Minnie Mouse.
"So I named it 'Pink House Mouse' because that's the name I got from my mother," she said, drawing laughter. Then, Soyeon, Shuhua, and Yugi each chose their stage names, "Yellow Fish," "White Butterfly," and "White House Mouse."
(G)I-DLE released their seventh mini album "I Blue Sky" on the 8th.
