South Korean professional basketball player Heo Un accused of ”assault, forced sexual intercourse” and rape

The former girlfriend of Heo Eun, a player for the Busan KCC Yi Jisoo professional basketball team in South Korea, has filed a lawsuit against him for rape and assault.
On the 15th, lawyer Noh Jeong Un, the legal representative of Heo Eun's former lover A, gave an official statement, saying, "A was arrested on the 9th of this month in Gangnam (Gangnam)
"We received a complaint of rape and assault at the Namseong Police Station and completed the investigation of the plaintiff on the 12th," said lawyer Noh. "Around May 13-14, 2021, Heo Eun and A met at a hotel in Seoul.
After drinking at a bar in the area and getting into an argument, they moved to the smoking area on the first floor of the hotel. At this point, Heo Eun, who is 185cm tall, became enraged and smoked cigarettes in the smoking area on the first floor of the hotel.

"This is a case closely related to the indictment in which he demanded 10 billion won (approximately 33 million yen)," and he was disappointed with Heo's comments such as, "I'll think about marriage slowly, but I want you to have children."
"This is a case that concerns whether A's words were blurted out in anger or whether there was planned blackmail with the intention of receiving 300 million won."
He added, "Mr. A's side will sincerely engage in the investigation and make a clear case of innocence. In addition, we will not tolerate any false information being spread about Mr. A's side through YouTube.
"We have also filed a complaint against informant B, who spread the information, with the Gangnam Police Station on July 9, 2024," the company said.
"We are also preparing to file a lawsuit," they said, and urged people to "fully consider this situation and to ensure that no legal consequences are caused by the dissemination of false facts or secondary victimization."
Meanwhile, Heo Eun filed a lawsuit against Mr. A on the 26th of last month at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on charges of attempted blackmail, intimidation, and violation of the Stalking Punishment Act.
"For three years, Mr. A threatened to expose Heo Eun's private life through the media, social media, and his baseball team, and demanded 300 million won from him," the report said.
Heo Eun's side claims that they expressed their intention to take responsibility for Ms. A's two pregnancies and did not force her to have an abortion.
On the other hand, Ms. A's side made the opposite claim, saying that both abortions were performed at Heo Eun's insistence. However, Heo Eun appeared on Karakura Media on the 5th of this month and said,
"I had an abortion, so I was asking for a settlement, but he kept asking for money," she said. "The threats escalated. I thought I had to hang up."
