<Interview> ”NCT 127” talks about the appeal and episodes of their new album ”WALK”

NCT 127 will release all the songs from their 6th full album "WALK" on various music sites at 6 pm on the 15th, and the music video for the title song "Walk" will also be released on YouTube.
The title track "Walk" is a 2000s-inspired track that combines boom-bap drums with retro guitar sounds and synth sounds.
It is a hip-hop song that exudes a feeling of newness, and the lyrics express the image of walking forward in a style that is unique to NCT 127, and are filled with the confidence to move forward without following anyone else's path.
NCT 127 is receiving a lot of attention for this album, as it looks back on the path they have walked and aims to boldly face the new path they will walk in the future.
The members themselves shared various stories about the new album. Below is a Q&A session about NCT 127's 6th full-length album "WALK." Q.
This is your first comeback in about seven months with your sixth full album "WALK." Can you give us your thoughts on this comeback?
Jaehyun: I'm really grateful to the NCTzens (fans) who waited for me. With this album, we're going to release "NCT
I'm looking forward to being able to show you the unique side of the "127" crew. Let's enjoy it together! Jungwoo:

We will show you a different side of ourselves from what we've shown you so far, and we will show you more mature music and performances.
Please tell us what kind of album your 6th full album "WALK" is.
Do Yeong: The sixth full-length album is called "Pigdeok" (a Korean word that expresses a creaking sound).
In line with the keyword "Pigdeok," which is an onomatopoeia of "Pigdeok," we wanted to convey the meaning of "moving forward with our own steps, without worrying about what others think."
Mark: "WALK" is our 6th full album! You can feel the individuality of "NCT 127" once again.
The songs are composed of the single "127". You can feel the hipness that is unique to "127". Q. As you prepare for your 6th full-length album "WALK",
What part did you put the most effort into? Do Yeong: I put the most effort into preparing the choreography for "Walk."
JOHNNY: It's hard to choose just one, it's an album that we put a lot of care into.
I worked really hard on preparing the title song and each song on the record to match the weight that the title of this album gives. Q. When you first heard the title song "Walk,"
What did you think? If there were any other points to appreciate, what were they? Yuta: The first thing that struck me was, "Wow, it's intense!" I especially like the chorus part.
Jaehyun: When I first heard it, it was a song with a vibe that gave me a feeling. The key to listening to it is the groovy sound of the song.
It's a performance that harmonizes with the music. It has a different charm from the stages we've shown so far, so please look forward to it. Mark:
When I first heard it, I was blown away by the really hip old school vibe.
It was one of the best old school songs I've ever heard. The highlight of this song is how hip our band "127" is. Their performance with the handkerchiefs was very impactful.
I think that will be the key point! Q. What kind of charm do you plan to show in the title song "Walk"? JOHNNY: I want to show the ease and coolness of "NCT 127".
We tried to blend in as much as possible. From the sound of the song to the lyrics and performance, we want to show a cool yet bold charm.
Jungwoo: I want to show you how we digest the old school hip hop genre with our own color. We plan to show the hip vibe of "127" to the fullest,
Q. What is the highlight of the title song "Walk" music video? Are there any other memorable episodes from filming?
Yuta: This time we shot more group scenes than individual scenes. So the charm of the crew "127" is more apparent.
So please pay attention to our teamwork and chemistry! Also, we had a lot of group photos, so we had more time to spend with the members and it was more fun during the shoot, and every moment was great.
It's a memorable scene. Jungwoo: There was a scene where we were filming together in a car with the other members, and I think that part will be hip yet neo-esque, so please look forward to it.
It was impressive to see everyone coming together and having fun while filming, and I think it was even more fun doing it with the other members.
Haechan: My birthday was during the music video shoot, hyung.
I really remember the surprise party that you guys gave me. I was very grateful and thanks to you I was able to enjoy the shoot even more. Thank you, hyung.
(laughs) Q. The track videos for the record songs "Intro: Wall to Wall" and "Meaning of Love" were released and became a hot topic.
Taeil: When we were shooting the track video for "Meaning of Love," we shot a song with a brighter style than usual, which lifted our spirits.
Maybe because it was a fan song, I was constantly thinking about my fans during filming, and the atmosphere of the song made me feel good too. (laughs) Q.
What goals or achievements do you want to achieve through the promotions for your 6th full-length album "WALK"? Taeil: I want to show the composure and mature coolness of "NCT 127".
I definitely want to show it to you. And if NCTzens come to like our songs a lot and enjoy our promotions, I couldn't ask for anything more.
Mark: I want many people to say, "That's what you'd expect from NCT 127."
I have a lot of pride in the group "127",
I'm happiest when someone says that to me, more than anything else. (laughs) Q.
July 7th was the 8th anniversary of your debut. Please share your thoughts on it. Do Yeong: It felt a bit strange. It brought a different kind of importance to us.
It was our 8th anniversary, and we were preparing for this album, so I think I was a little more emotional than other times. It was very emotional, and I felt like the time I spent with the members was so special.
I was grateful to know that so much time has passed. And as an artist who has been active for eight years, I want to show a great performance.
Haechan: I feel like our 8th anniversary is getting bigger and deeper. I remember the time we've spent together and
I feel a stronger sense of responsibility and a stronger sense of purpose. I want to thank the older brothers who have been with me until now and tell them that I love them! Q.
