"Supernatural" by NewJeans continues to make waves. Following on from Korea and Japan, it continues to rank on the US Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard chart (dated July 20th) released on the 16th (local time), NewJeans' Japanese debut single "Supernaut"
"Ural" ranked 22nd in the Global (Excluding the U.S.) and 37th in the Global 200, making it into the charts for the third consecutive week. The Global (Excluding the U.S.) ranking has dropped from the previous week.
The double single "How Sweet" record has also been ranked in the global charts for seven consecutive weeks.
"Sweet" ranked 34th and 61st on the Global (Excluding the US) and Global 200 respectively.
"New Jeans" and "How Gum" are ranked 78th and 188th, respectively. The songs of "New Jeans" have already dominated the major music charts in Korea, and "How Gum" and "How Gum" are ranked 78th and 188th, respectively.
"Sweet" is holding onto third place on the Melon Daily Chart (as of July 16th), while "Supernatural" is in fifth place and "Bubble
"Gum" entered the top 10 at number 6. The reversal of "Supernatural" was particularly notable. This song was released on the day of its release (June 21st)
After ranking 34th in Melon's "Top 100" in 2016, the group's rankings improved due to their Tokyo Dome Fan Meeting (June 26-27) and appearances on domestic music shows (July 12-14).
It rose to a peak of 4th place. Not only the new songs, but also past songs are still popular. In August 2022, the debut song "Hype
NewJeans' previous songs, "Boy" and "Attention," which were global hits, are still ranked on the charts.
"New Jeans" showed its strength by having 10 songs ranked on the Melon daily chart. This overwhelming dominance of the music source was also proven on the Circle chart.
According to a survey of circle index share by digital chart top 400 artists in June, "New Jeans" took first place with a 9.2% share.
A total of 16 songs are ranked in the top ranks of this chart, including "Sweet" at No. 2 and "Bubble Gum" at No. 3.
"New Jeans" also showed its strength in the album category, with over 1.08 million albums sold in the past month.
Looking at the album sales share by Top 400 artists in June, "New Jeans" ranked second overall and first among girl groups.
