TV series produced by studio and new is No. 1 on Netflix and Disney+

Dramas produced by studio and new (headed by Lee Seung-won), a content production affiliate of NEW (160550), which attracted viewers in the TV market and around the world last year with ‘Moving’ and ‘Dr. Cha Jung-sook’, have become the most-watched series on the two major global OTT platforms, Netflix and Disney+, the two major global OTT platforms, respectively.

The new SBS drama Good Partner, which premiered last week, captured the hearts of viewers with its cold but hot women's chemistry between veteran star lawyer Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Nara) and rookie lawyer Han Yuri (played by Nam Ji-hyun) and the reality empathy episode that left a strong aftertaste. The Disney+ original series Red Swan, which premiered on the 3rd of last year, is a ‘K-dry’ series that has received a positive response in the Asian region. Combining the pleasures of various genres such as action, mystery, thriller and melody, ‘Red Swan’ was ranked No. 1 for nine consecutive days in the Disney+ Korea Top 10 TV Show category on the global OTT viewership ranking website FlixPatrol as of 16th. It has also maintained the top five in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries. Red Swan' is a deadly scandal drama about Wan Soo (Kim Ha-neul), the president of the Now Foundation, whose life is threatened by the inheritance war surrounding the Fine family, one of the top 1% in Korea, and her guard Do-yun (Rain), who discovers the Fine family secret. It is being shown on Disney+ only on Wednesdays.

Studio and new, with its diverse drama production experience and cinematic eye, is about to release the Disney+ original series Tyrant, starring Cha Seung-won, Kim Sung-ho, Kim Kang-woo and Cho Yoon-su, co-produced with director Park Heung-jung's film company Geumwol. The chase action thriller ‘Tyrant’, which marks the return of the ‘Park Hoon-jung Universe’ that presented ‘New World’ and ‘The Witch’, will be released simultaneously in all four episodes on Disney+ on the 14th August.
