The incident occurred during a broadcast on the Seoul Daily Han River Live Camera channel. At around 10:56 p.m., a citizen got off a taxi on a bridge over the Han River and started walking and stopping on the bridge.
After about six minutes, he jumped over the railing and into the Han River. A minute later, the Marine Rescue Team was dispatched to the scene, and five minutes later, an ambulance and police vehicles arrived. Ten minutes later, an ambulance was under the bridge.
The police arrived and the situation was quickly resolved. The entire incident was captured on a live channel. The Daily Seoul Han River Live Camera channel, run by an individual, was broadcast on December 8, 2020.
