A man in his 40s who escaped from an upturned Mercedes Benz after an accident and fled the scene turned himself in five days after the crime but denied being drunk driving.
The Haeundae Police Station in Busan, South Korea, is suspected of not taking any action after an accident under the Road Traffic Act.
On the 18th, the police announced that a teenager, Mr. A, had been charged without detention and was under investigation. Mr. A was driving a Mercedes near the three-way intersection at the entrance to the Haeundae-gu Office in Woo-dong, Haeundae-gu at around 1 a.m. on the 13th when he was hit by a car electric shock.

The police have secured security camera footage of the incident and are investigating whether Mr. A had been drinking alcohol. They have also taken a hair sample from Mr. A and asked the National Forensic Service to examine it.
