”I wanted to hold him”... Aunt ”threw” 11-month-old nephew from 24th floor (South Korea)

In South Korea, prosecutors have sought a 20-year prison sentence for an aunt in her 40s who threw her 11-month-old nephew to death from a 24th-floor apartment window.
On the 18th, the Daegu District Court held a final hearing for A (age 42), who was arrested and indicted on suspicion of murder.
At this meeting, the prosecution sought a 20-year prison sentence for A, stating that "A had been wearing an electronic location tracking device (electronic ankle bracelet) for 10 years.
On May 8th of this year, A and her mother visited the home of her brother and sister-in-law in Daegu and threw their 11-month-old baby from the 24th floor of their apartment.
He is accused of throwing his nephew out of a window, resulting in his death. According to the prosecution, after being hospitalized for mental illness, A became delusional and believed that his family would torture and kill his nephew, leading a miserable life.
He decided to kill her so that she would not be able to continue living with him. On the day of the crime, he had even prepared the murder weapon, but he changed the method of the murder out of fear that others would find out.
A told his mother, who was taking care of his nephew, "I want to hold him too," and when his mother left the room, he locked the door and committed the crime.
