[Official] ”Even the name has been hijacked?” TVING says its YouTube channel was hacked from an external source... ”We will do our best to restore it as quickly as possible”

TVING, South Korea's leading OTT platform, is reportedly working hard to recover after being hacked.
On the 20th, TVING posted on their official SNS, "On Saturday, July 20, 2024, TVING's YouTube channel was targeted by an external hacker.
"Due to the King attack, there has been an issue with channel names being changed, and we would like to provide you with further information," the announcement read.
TVING said, "TVING is aware of the channel hacking and has notified YouTube.
"We are taking steps to resolve the issue and will do our best to restore the channel as quickly as possible."
On the same morning, tvNTV Series, which has about 7.71 million subscribers,
TVING's official YouTube account, which had 980,000 subscribers, was hacked, and most of the content was either deleted or made private.
Currently, these YouTube accounts have changed their channel names to "Ripple" and are posting videos related to various cryptocurrencies.
In response to this, TVING has revealed that it is taking steps with YouTube to ensure a speedy recovery.
