KOOK received the gold certification from the French Recording Industry Association in April last year for his solo single "Seven," and now he has received the "GOLDEN" certification.
It achieved its second Gold certification in 2019. It was also certified Gold by Music Canada in 2024.
"GOLDEN" is the highest-selling album by an Asian solo artist in the US, the world's largest music market.
It also set a new record as the fastest album to sell over 900,000 units in the U.S. All songs on "GOLDEN" have sold over 100,000 units in the U.S.
