China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports top 1.22 trillion for six months...10.5% increase from same period last year - Chinese media

At a press conference held on the 30th, the Information Office of the State Council of China revealed that new business models such as cross-border e-commerce are becoming an important force in stabilizing foreign trade in China.
According to statistics from China Customs, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports in the first half of this year reached 1.22 trillion former (about 25 trillion yen), up 10.5% from the same period last year.
This is 4.4 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of foreign trade during the same period. By 2023, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports will be 1.2 times that of 2018, and will reach 1.2 times the amount in 2018 so far this year.
