He has a daughter and was arrested in February 2019 on suspicion of gambling overseas on 26 occasions totaling 790 million won (approximately 79 million yen) between August 2016 and May 2018.
He was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for two years, and given 80 hours of community service.
