Capula Management, Europe's fourth-largest hedge fund, has invested nearly $500 million into a Bitcoin exchange-traded index fund (ETF).
According to Cointelegraph on the 5th (local time), Capula announced through a public announcement that it had invested a total of $464 million (approximately 67.3 billion yen).
The company announced that it holds more than 10,000 Bitcoin ETFs worth 100,000 yen. This reflects the portfolio confirmed as of June 30.
Capra is a hedge fund headquartered in the UK that manages more than $30 billion in investment assets.

The company said in a disclosure that it holds shares in IBIT, an investment banking group, and does not hold any other cryptocurrency assets.
According to IPO Advisors, ETFs in the United States account for a market worth $9 trillion (approximately 1300 trillion yen).
On the 5th, the Bitcoin ETF saw trading volume of over $1 billion (about 144 billion yen) within minutes of starting trading.
It recorded one of the highest trading volumes in history.
