Korean smartphone manufacturers and telecommunications companies offer call recording features one after another to compete with Apple = Korea

According to the IT industry, Apple has recently distributed a developer beta version of iOS 18.1 with a call recording function. The official release is expected in October.
When you install the data version on an iPhone 15 or similar device and make a call, a "record" button will appear in the upper left corner of the screen.
The "S24" is equipped with an AI (artificial intelligence) video recording function that uses "Galaxy AI." Recordings can be transcribed into text, summarized, and translated into 13 languages.
It is also possible to copy and use the app on "Sun Notes." Meanwhile, the major telecommunications company SK Telecom (SKT) will start offering the app on both Android smartphones and iPhones from October 2023.
The company is currently offering "A.Call," which provides call recording and summary functions. After summarizing the call, it also has the function of adding the date to the calendar.
Telecommunications companies are also planning to launch a new service for the iPhone with recording, text conversion, and summary functions.
This is because Apple is a latecomer to the Korean text conversion function for the iPhone, and it is expected that the service will be incomplete for the time being.
