ソヨン((G)I-DLE)は「会社の対応が不十分」vs CUBEは「パフォーマンスの一部」…3日目の葛藤ing
Soyeon ((G)I-DLE) says ”company's response is insufficient” vs CUBE says ”it's just part of the performance”... Conflict on Day 3
The conflict between (G)I-DLE member Soyeon and management office Cube Entertainment is on its third day. There has been a flurry of explanations and sniping.
On the 6th, Soyeon spoke out on her channel about the recent rumors surrounding her conflict with management office CUBE Entertainment.
"I also didn't write any rumors or hide anything from the agency. We rehearsed in front of everyone dozens of times and created the show together."
He continued, "We have overcome many things together for over 10 years, so I don't have any negative feelings toward the company just from reading the article."
However, it seems that this will be an opportunity for us to once again feel that our company has been inadequate in responding to any issues. I will also do my best so that we can grow together," he said, telling the company not to worry.
In response, Soyeon said that she would develop together with Cube Entertainment, which essentially refuted Cube Entertainment's position.
Recently, UBE Entertainment has warned fans not to misinterpret Soyeon's stage as a sudden, undiscussed move or as part of a stage performance.
However, in Soyeon's new revelation, it is clear that this was a performance that had already been shown dozens of times through rehearsals.
He said he had never experienced such a situation and was rather disappointed with the management office's response.
(G)I-DLE's third world tour "iDOL" was held at the DOME. Soyeon performed the song "Is this bad
b****** number?" stage. While rapping, Soyeon drew attention by spitting out lyrics such as "My contract ends in November" and "Nobody can stop me."
This sparked controversy over whether Soyeon would renew her contract with the management office. The fans were upset because she performed this kind of performance at a concert where fans gathered.
Concerns are also growing. In particular, (G)I-DLE has been voicing concerns on various web variety shows for the past two years about their status, such as "There is not much time left on our contract with the agency" and "We have one and a half years left on our contract renewal."
He continued to make comments such as, "He used to play pranks on me a lot, but I told him to stop because the company's stock prices had fallen," and continued to use him as material for jokes.
After (G)I-DLE's harsh jokes, Soyeon's rap lyrics were added, asking if they would renew their contract.
The management office has offered an explanation, but the conflict continues as Soyeon is once again taking aim.
