"Highest" will be released on CD on September 25th, and all songs will be released on various global music platforms at 6 pm today (8th).
The album, which consists of six songs including the title song "Go Higher," marks WayV's full-fledged Japanese debut and was released digitally in May last year.
This is the first new album in about 1 year and 4 months since the single "Welcome To My Paradise".
"Higher" is a West Coast hip-hop song with a striking contrast between a heavy drum beat and a catchy melody line.
It is a foundational song, and the lyrics express their ambition to paint the world anew with WayV's unique colors and rise even higher.
Also, the lyrics are about facing anything head on and it's a powerful song.
"Tempo" has a harmonious atmosphere, and "Deep" is an emotional song that evokes the feeling of being adrift alone in the deep sea.
"Ocean", the friendship between members who are different from each other but are happy and fun to be together
"What a Good Time," which sings about the past and future, is also expected to receive a positive response. In addition, "Images," which expresses the desire to get to know someone better through the moon, and "Always by their side," which expresses the desire to be with someone, are also expected to receive a positive response.
The song "Bandage" has been recorded, which conveys the message that "We are in this together" with a refreshing band sound, and is enough to enjoy WayV's diverse musical world.
Meanwhile, WayV will kick off their first solo concert tour at Port Messe Nagoya in Aichi from August 17th to 18th.
