A series of water-related accidents occur in Gangwon Province, South Korea

A series of accidents have occurred along rivers in Gangwon-do, South Korea. According to fire and police authorities, on the 11th, at around 2:30 pm, a tragic accident occurred in Cheonya, Kima-eup, Choron-gun,
A man in his 40s drowned in the river under the Chance Bridge in Cheongyang-ri. He was rescued in a state of cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital. Police believe that the accident occurred while the man was playing in the water.
At around 12:47 p.m., Mr. B, a man in his 60s, was swept away by the water in the Nerin River in Inje County and was rescued and transported to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.
Prior to this, at around 8:55 a.m. on the same day, a man in his 50s, Mr. C, was crushed by a tree while cutting wood in the mountains of Hoengseong County.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital in cardiac arrest.
