Japanese lawmakers visit Korea's Semiconductor Specialization University

A delegation of Japanese Diet members visited the Natural Sciences Campus of Myongji University in South Korea on the 6th of this month and toured the semiconductor facilities on campus.
Myongji University, a "semiconductor specialized university," was established in June last year under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The Japanese delegation met with key officials from the university, including the president of Myongji University, and then toured the university's semiconductor facilities.
In his welcoming speech, Myongji University President Yoo Byung-jin said, "I would like to extend my heartfelt welcome to the Japanese delegation that visited Myongji University," and "I look forward to continuing such exchanges in the future."
"I hope that this will contribute to revitalizing industry and promoting friendship between our two countries."
